We often shoot weddings at Astoria Banquets in Buffalo Grove. We love the people that work there and we love the way our photos come out when we shoot there. The decor is rich and “exquiste” to say the least. It makes for bright and colorful yet timeless pictures. From the second you walk in the door, you will feel like you walked into a historical mansion. Both wedding ceremonies and receptions at Astoria are always elegant, fun and classy. Their beautiful staircase is better than any portrait backdrop. From the chandeliers to the dance floor, to the gold-embossed trims and moldings, there is gorgeous detail in every part of Astoria. Did we mention the AMAZING food?
Suprisingly, the prices are very reasonable. Even some of us Jolie Images people have had our own weddings here!

Quinette and Jerry
On August 20, 2010, we had the privilege of photographing Quinette and Jerry’s wedding at the beautiful Astoria Banquets in Buffalo Grove. The outdoor shots were shot at the Chicago Botanic Gardens in Northbrook which is not far from Astoria right before the reception. As you can see from the below slideshow, Jane Allen did an amazing job. The wedding ran smoothly and effortlessly and it shows in the photographs.
